Tsunami 2011, Japan.

Watching videos of the tsunami hitting towns of Japan makes my heart weep for the victims and people of Japan. No words could aptly describe how I felt, watching the sea literally swallowing the coastal towns and bringing in its' wake, a trail of near total destruction, a devastation so great that it'll take months before a town is reconstructed.

So many lives lost; so many possessions gone and so many memories washed away by the raging waters of the tsunami.

I pray for the people of Japan. I pray for their recovery. I pray for their strength. I pray for their hope. I pray for their courage. And I pray they will forever stand united to rebuild all that was lost and to emerge from this catastrophe a stronger nation of survivors.

Aahhh, at last I have a blog to call my own. Musings sounds good doesn't it? It's to tell of what I am thinking at the moment , to tell of my observations of all things that's around me and may I say, it's also to give my opinion on certain things from my point of view. LIFE...without FACEBOOK for a week.

Since I am on a one week's leave of absence from Facebook, I thought I'd have a daily log of activities, starting from Day 1 till Day 7, or whatever day that's the last...haha DAY 1 - Thursday, 26th January, 2012 Started off the day as usual. Went around the condo cleaning and dusting and collecting bags of trash to be thrown down the chute. Had a shower, got dressed then went to Peekaboo at  The Curve for my customary hair wash. Lucky I went there early, otherwise I would have had to wait longer for my hair to be washed since it was their first day of reopening after the CNY celebrations and some of the staff were still on leave. After Peekaboo, I crossed over to Ikano Power Centre where the Cold Storage is to get some foodstuff. Since I already knew what I wanted to buy, it was a quick walk round the aisles with a basket in hand. Got all that I needed, then it was back to the Curve side, got the car and headed for home. Resolutions, resolutions, resolutions...

Yeah...what are resolutions exactly? For me, resolutions are a set of goals I set for myself to be accomplished, maybe, till the end of the year....haha... The goals varies and of course that which suits my needs, in other words. I was first introduced to having a new year resolution by my late father when I was in my early teens. He would make me and my other sisters write out our resolutions and read them out to him and my mum! Yup! We had to read our resolutions to him so he would know if we had our priorities straight. Anyway, he gave us each a diary too so that we can keep track of our activities. Initially, we were most diligent in filling up our diaries but as the year progressed, we became lazy and stopped updating our activities altogether...that was till another new year approached...hahahaha The same can be said for our resolutions too.
