DAY 4 - Sunday, 29th January, 2012

Sorry folks...nothing much to update cause I have been SICK! I hate it when I feel helpless. Yes! I do feel helpless when I am sick. Can't do things that I need to. The whole day I was sleeping...but it's good in a way, I get to 'recover' all the lost sleeping time...

4th day today and I have not even felt like going back to FB...Ah haaaaa! Good or bad? Both I think. Good because I do get to do other stuff. Bad because I've sort of lost touch with what's happening 'out' there. 

Oh yeah, earlier in the afternoon, I got to watch a bit of Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire. I am no Harry Potter fan actually but having watched a bit it was quite interesting and kinda exciting. My hats off to J.K Rowling. She is one helluva author. Being able to write so creatively is just awesome! Would love to say more about her but still feeling lousy at the moment...haha

Ohhhh, I just remembered, my FB wall will be on Timeline mode and I was given a week to do whatever necessary to edit or add anything to it. And that means, my Timeline will start on the 1st of February. Shucks! I need to get back on FB latest by 31st January to do the necessasry changes. Oh well, I did say I was going off FB for a week or less and I have sort of nearly finished all that needed to be done. 

Anyway, this is all for today. Gonna watch AJL afterwards. Quite a number of songs I like is in. Hope one of them wins...

(Do read Part 1 before reading Part 2.) It's been 4 years now since I got married for the second time on the 12th of January, 2013. Gosh! 4 years ago too that I posted of my marriage and since then, a lot of things have happened. The good and the bad, happy and the sad, adjustment periods and lots of sacrifices...as normal marriages go of course. Adjustment period. Yeah, what is an adjustment period some may ask. It's a period whereby a couple goes through and encounters in the course of being in a marriage. The adjustment period may take between one to two years or maybe even more for some and it all depends on the individual's characters and upbringing as well I suppose. There should be give and take, lots of trust, honesty, patience, respect for each other and a degree of openness between the couple but of course privacy is also of importance. Hello!!!

Aahhh, at last I have a blog to call my own. Musings sounds good doesn't it? It's to tell of what I am thinking at the moment , to tell of my observations of all things that's around me and may I say, it's also to give my opinion on certain things from my point of view. Having this blog too enables me to practise my writing skills. Am thinking of writing a book or penning a memoir or two. So I guess, starting a blog is a good place as any to gauge what you readers think. At the moment, I am sitting here at Starbucks, located at the Empire Gallery in Subang Jaya. Three of my kids are here with me. They wanted to get some stuff before they leave for Japan this Wednesday. Hmmm, what else do I write here eh? Everything is still new to me; slowly but surely, I'll get there in no time at all. What I need is a little bit of practice. It's been 3 years...

3 years??? Has it been that long??? Well yeah, it surely has been 3 years that I last posted anything in this blog of mine. Between those times till now, a lot has happened in my life. Mostly good and uplifting things. My 2 youngest children went to university in Melbourne, my 2 older children got married within a space of 2 years, my daughter is expecting her first child...yes!!! I am gonna be a grandmother soon...haha. I have also moved house from Shah Alam to Mont Kiara, which I love very much. Oh ya, I have left Facebook for good too and it's been more than a year now that my life has been free of negative vibes that permeates through FB often times. To be honest, leaving FB was the best decision I made that time and frankly, I have not missed anything that relates to FB at all!  So, the only social media platform that I use to share my pics and thoughts now is Instagram.  I have also started a new hobby and interest...acrylic painting... mostly self-taught through Yo
