DAY 5 - Monday, 30th January, 2012

Still feeling sick..and more ill than yesterday. Last night, thought I would watch Anugerah Juara Lagu till the end. Could only manage till the song Beribu Sesalan was sang. What a song that was. And until now, I still don't know which song won!...Oh well, will know soon enough.

Had to go to Ikea though I felt like sleeping the whole day. Lucky Fairuz was still around to keep me company. We had lunch at Marche@Curve before going to Ikea. I had sirloin steak with a side of mashed potatoes while Fairuz had grilled salmon. 

Went over to Ikea where we met up with Fatin Osman, her hubby and her son and we went round looking at lights for my house in Melaka. We got what we wanted and that was good. Wanted to get some other stuff too but since I was still feeling ill, kept that thought aside for when I am much better...emmmm, come to think of it, when I am much better, it'll be bad actually, cause I might not be able to stop shopping!...hehe...






After Ikea, headed for the pharmacy again to get more meds. Got my bp checked as well and it was a bit on the high side...even my pulse rate was quite high...because I was not well, I think.

Gonna try and sleep early again tonite. Maybe I will be able to, especially after taking the cough meds...haha

(Do read Part 1 before reading Part 2.) It's been 4 years now since I got married for the second time on the 12th of January, 2013. Gosh! 4 years ago too that I posted of my marriage and since then, a lot of things have happened. The good and the bad, happy and the sad, adjustment periods and lots of sacrifices...as normal marriages go of course. Adjustment period. Yeah, what is an adjustment period some may ask. It's a period whereby a couple goes through and encounters in the course of being in a marriage. The adjustment period may take between one to two years or maybe even more for some and it all depends on the individual's characters and upbringing as well I suppose. There should be give and take, lots of trust, honesty, patience, respect for each other and a degree of openness between the couple but of course privacy is also of importance. Hello!!!

Aahhh, at last I have a blog to call my own. Musings sounds good doesn't it? It's to tell of what I am thinking at the moment , to tell of my observations of all things that's around me and may I say, it's also to give my opinion on certain things from my point of view. Having this blog too enables me to practise my writing skills. Am thinking of writing a book or penning a memoir or two. So I guess, starting a blog is a good place as any to gauge what you readers think. At the moment, I am sitting here at Starbucks, located at the Empire Gallery in Subang Jaya. Three of my kids are here with me. They wanted to get some stuff before they leave for Japan this Wednesday. Hmmm, what else do I write here eh? It's been 3 years...

3 years??? Has it been that long??? Well yeah, it surely has been 3 years that I last posted anything in this blog of mine. Between those times till now, a lot has happened in my life. Mostly good and uplifting things. My 2 youngest children went to university in Melbourne, my 2 older children got married within a space of 2 years, my daughter is expecting her first child...yes!!! I am gonna be a grandmother soon...haha. I have also moved house from Shah Alam to Mont Kiara, which I love very much. Oh ya, I have left Facebook for good too and it's been more than a year now that my life has been free of negative vibes that permeates through FB often times. To be honest, leaving FB was the best decision I made that time and frankly, I have not missed anything that relates to FB at all!  So, the only social media platform that I use to share my pics and thoughts now is Instagram.  I have also started a new hobby and interest...acrylic painting... mostly self-taught through Yo
