New beginnings....

1st January, 2012... start of the new year. It's about time I started back on my blogging. Have left it for way too long. Really need to script all happenings that have occurred so I will have a sort of record  for reference. Since I missed on the last maybe 5 or 6 months or so of 2011, I do hope I am not lazy in scripting my blog for this year....yeah, hopefully...hahaha


Well, the middle to last quarter of 2011 had been somewhat of a roller-coaster ride for me. There were mixed feelings and a see-saw of emotions in my life which saw me going through a rather turbulent and tumultuous season. Outwardly, I looked calm and collected but only God knows what was going on in my mind! Praise be to Allah! I still maintained my sanity and remained strong and steadfast in the face of all tests thrown in my way and I passed with flying colors.

There were a lot of things that still remains uncompleted and I do hope I can get all of those things out of the way this year so I can concentrate on better things ...huh, fat hopes...hehe...but I will make sure I try to be good and not procrastinate...LOL

I guess, this is all I want to say for the start of my new year blog. Will follow up with more stories and tales to share.

A lot of things that has yet to be
A year that's filled with so much love
A year that's blessed from God above

A year where all my hopes and wishes
Gets fulfilled and bring me happiness
A lot of laughter and less of tears
A lot of courage and less fears.

I wish for my loved ones to be happy
To have more joy and to be merry
I wish for friends and acquaintances too
A wonderful New Year for all of you!

Gosh! 4 years ago too that I posted of my marriage and since then, a lot of things have happened. Hello!!!

Aahhh, at last I have a blog to call my own. Musings sounds good doesn't it? It's to tell of what I am thinking at the moment , to tell of my observations of all things that's around me and may I say, it's also to give my opinion on certain things from my point of view. Having this blog too enables me to practise my writing skills. Am thinking of writing a book or penning a memoir or two. So I guess, starting a blog is a good place as any to gauge what you readers think. At the moment, I am sitting here at Starbucks, located at the Empire Gallery in Subang Jaya. Three of my kids are here with me. They wanted to get some stuff before they leave for Japan this Wednesday. Hmmm, what else do I write here eh? It's been 3 years...

3 years??? Has it been that long??? Well yeah, it surely has been 3 years that I last posted anything in this blog of mine. Between those times till now, a lot has happened in my life. Mostly good and uplifting things. My 2 youngest children went to university in Melbourne, my 2 older children got married within a space of 2 years, my daughter is expecting her first child...yes!!! I am gonna be a grandmother soon...haha. I have also moved house from Shah Alam to Mont Kiara, which I love very much. Oh ya, I have left Facebook for good too and it's been more than a year now that my life has been free of negative vibes that permeates through FB often times. To be honest, leaving FB was the best decision I made that time and frankly, I have not missed anything that relates to FB at all!  So, the only social media platform that I use to share my pics and thoughts now is Instagram.  I have also started a new hobby and interest...acrylic painting... mostly self-taught through Yo
